Weapons and specialized gadgets are your only lifeline when raiding the Human World in Burglin Gnomes. However, resource management is tight, and several craftable items are complete wastes of your hard-earned materials. Based on our extensive testing, here is the complete directory of every weapon, armor piece, and mobility gadget, along with their exact crafting costs, target parameters, and practical utility ratings.
The Golden Rule of Inventory Slots
Before crafting, understand where your gear goes. Gnomes cannot hold everything on their persons:
- Equipment Slots: Only the Backpack, Spring Shoes, Helmet, Slingshot, and Glider can be equipped in these two dedicated slots.
- Item Slots: All other weapons, tools, and consumables must sit in your standard item inventory. If your inventory is full, use the Tab menu to drop excess items.
1. Melee & Ranged Weapons
Metal Bat
- Crafting Cost: 3xClonk Fragments
- Utility: Your baseline melee weapon. Used to attack and stun overworld targets.
- Target Limitations:Immune Targets: Cats, Dogs, Pixies, Moles, Wild Boars, Bees, Seagulls, and Old Men (Humans). Do not attempt to hit them.
- Vulnerable Targets: Red Caps, Seal-men, and the "BB" rat monster. It typically takes 3 to 4 hits to neutralize these threats.
Boxing Gloves
- Crafting Cost: 3x Fabric Fragments
- Utility: Identical reach and damage profile to the Metal Bat, but carries a high probability of inducing a temporary stun state on impact. Highly useful for managing crowd control.
Blowgun
- Crafting Cost: 1x Chemicals Fragment
- Utility: A tactical ranged weapon that fires custom blowdarts. Unlike clubs, blowdart effects **work on all living creatures** in the game, including humans and immune pests.
- Ammunition Crafting: Take any brewed potion to the **Recycling Station** inside your base to synthesize specialized darts (e.g., Sleep, Knockback, or Flatulence).
- Inventory Note: You must have both the Blowpipe and your darts in your active item slots. The pipe will automatically feed from your dart stack. You can carry a maximum of 5 darts per slot.
Marble Gun
- Crafting Cost: 3x Plastic Fragments+ 2x Clonk Fragments
- Utility: Fires round marbles to daze and disorient enemies from safety.
- Ammo Source: Marbles are easily scavenged from the living room couches inside the Human World. You must carry both the gun and the marbles in your item inventory.
2. Unique Mobility & Defense Gear
Pixie Wings
- How to Obtain: Successfully eliminate a wild Pixie .
- The Pixie Trap: Do not attack a Pixie with standard gnome weapons (Spiked Club/Sticks). This will only enrage her, causing her to instantly kill you. You must use human-tier ranged weapons or explosive traps (Pistols, Rocket Launchers, Grenades, Landmines) to neutralize her in one hit, or bait a nearby Dog into attacking her.
- Utility: Consumes stamina to allow your gnome to hover and fly over obstacles. They occasionally have a low probability of spawning directly around your Gnome Haven base.
Backpack
- Crafting Cost: 2x Fabric Fragments
- Utility: Essential early-game gear. Permanently expands your carrying capacity from 2 item slots to 4. Craft this on Day 1.
Glider
- Crafting Cost: 3x Fabric Fragments + 2x Fraggles Fragments
- Utility: Press and hold Space mid-air to glide across rooms.
- Collision Warning: The Glider has a rigid collision box. Avoid gliding near staircases, doors, or tight furniture layouts, as you will easily get clipped and stuck in the wall geometry.
Spring Shoes
- Crafting Cost: 1x Clonk Fragment + 2x Plastic Fragments
- Utility: Consumes stamina to progressively launch you higher into the air with consecutive jumps.
- Safety Warning: Jumping too high will trigger lethal fall damage or knock you unconscious if you hit your head on low ceilings. Never wear Spring Shoes without equipping a Helmet first.
Helmet
- Crafting Cost: 2x Plastic Fragments
- Utility: Protects your head from impact and fall damage. Essential pairing for Spring Shoes.
3. Specialized Industrial Tools
Glue Gloves
- Crafting Cost: 3x Plastic Fragments + 1x Fabric Fragment
- Utility: Allows you to climb vertical walls, cabinets, and structure faces. Highly reliable for vertical exploration.
Gnomium Gloves
- Crafting Cost: 3x Gnomium + 2x Fraggles Fragments
- Utility: Allows you to safely interact with objects from a distance. Use them to open human doors remotely or snatch high-up loot without climbing.
Pickaxe
- Crafting Cost: 3x Clonk Fragments + 1x Plastic Fragment
- Utility: Instantly smashes heavy overworld objects into raw materials on the spot. Extremely useful for "gather hard materials" tasks where the target object is too heavy to carry back to the portal intact.
Eyeglass
- Crafting Cost: 2x Fraggles Fragments
- Utility: Equip this to inspect human world items. It displays a UI popup showing exactly what materials and quantities the object will break down into.
Grappling Hook Gun
- Crafting Cost: 3x Clonk Fragments + 2x Gnomium
- Utility: Fires a high-velocity hook to pull you directly to high ledges. Hold Left Click to shoot, then hold Space to pull.
- Pathfinder's Verdict: This is a god-tier traversal tool. We highly recommend that at least one member of your co-op team carries a Grappling Hook Gun on every raid.
The Crafting Trap: The Slingshot LauncherCrafting Cost: 2x Chemicals Fragments
The game presents this as a fun, co-op traversal tool where one gnome wears the sling on their back and another pulls it to launch teammates. In our test runs, we confirmed this is a complete waste of resources. It has terrible launch accuracy, breaks after minimal uses, and often glitches players into ceilings. Do not waste your materials on this.
